In my case several times my single comment on other blogs bring me 30-50 visitors. I think only one comment and 50 visitors, that's a very easy and great way for bringing traffic.
3. Guest Post - Guest posting is a very great way for getting traffic. You just have to write some great posts with valuable contents and put links to you blog or blog pages and attach it with email and send it to some great blogger in your niche. Have some patience, If your post is liked by those bloggers then they will feature it on their blog. This way you will not only get traffic but will also be able to brand your blog. Just impress the blogger and their visitors by your writing and as a result your blog will be benefited. This also improves search engine ranking of your blog.

SEO - Search engine optimization improves your blog traffic coming from search engines like Google, Yahoo etc. This includes keyword optimization (search for high traffic keyword with less traffic), put keyword in your post title and content too with moderate density, Put meta keyword and meta description, link different page of your blogs with internal linking etc. This is the slow process but most effective too.
5. Twitter - "Twitter the mini-blogging world!" Ya you can get large amount of blog traffic through twitter. In fact my first visitor to this blog was from twitter! Here the rule of getting traffic is - "more the follower, more the visitor". It is simple just give time to traffic and try to get more and more followers by following people from your niche and post 5-10 tweet daily with your blog posts link. The followers will be able to see you tweet and may click on your links. So you got the traffic! Some bloggers are getting more than 100,000 visitors per month through twitter!
