How to Get Free Blog Traffic Quickly and Easily

The process of generating free blog traffic has become far too complicated! A lot of this comes from marketers who just want to sell you stuff. A lot of it comes from well-meaning yet inexperienced blog consultants and other "gurus" who promise you the world in the hopes they can generate some attention for themselves. Here is what you need to know: generating free blog traffic is not difficult, but it does take some work. If you're willing to put in some work and follow the two free methods of generating free traffic I share with you in this article, you will get the results you're looking for in a fairly short period of time. If you're determined to find an automated way that requires both none of your time AND none of your money, you're not yet ready to read this article!

Here are the two best ways to get free blog traffic:
Do a search on Google for your top search terms + "forum". In other words if you're marketing a blog in the real estate niche, you would do searches for things like "real estate forum", "homes for sale forum" and "Realtor forum". You get the idea. You might be surprised how many forums are available in your niche. Join them. Spend time there and talk to the members. Don't spam them; just join in the conversation. If you are an expert in your field, it will become obvious over a short period of time to the members there that you clearly know what you're talking about. That's when they head over to your site and check you out. It snowballs from there. It starts out small, and it gets bigger and bigger. Nearly every forum gives you the ability to customize your signature. In other words, when you post a comment, your domain name gets posted under your name. Make sure you have your signature set up to display your domain name.
This one is my favorite. Write posts, just like you would for your blog, but instead of posting it to your blog, email it to other bloggers. It's called guest posting. If you've not done this, don't underestimate it. I've generated a huge amount of traffic with this technique alone. Don't just blindly mass email your posts out to every blogger on the planet. That's useless. Talk with the bloggers in your niche. Comment on their sites. Talk with them on Twitter. Then ask them if you can submit a guest post. Fire it out. No, not everything will be accepted. But some will. And getting your content published on other sites with strong traffic will lead a nice solid stream of traffic and new subscribers back to you.
